Diameter
12 cm (4 3/4")
14th century Celadon from the Yuan dynasty made at the kilns at Longquan. Excellent deep green glaze with a good stoneware body.
The colour of the glaze is a good deep green and the glaze pools naturally into the edge of the sides with the bottom. It pulls away from the rim where the glaze is slightly thinner
On the underside the glaze falls just short of the foot and there is a cleared are in the foot where the body shows a wonderful red burnt colour.
