Si Satchanalai small elongated amphora shaped celadon jar with lug handles to the neck. probably made as a small oil jar

the glaze was applied by dipping the jar while holding the base. The jar was then turned over to await firing this is why there are glaze dribbles down the unglazed areas. These dribbles are often referred to as tear drops.

in the curves and hollows the glaze pools and thickens giving a good deep colour.
