Chinese 112th century open conical bowl with incised decoration to the interior. The rim has six dips carved out intentionally as part of the decoration. Light pale ash translucent glaze with an unglazed foot

The interior decoration to the base and sides shows scrolling foliage with fruit.

The open conical form of the bowl is a common shape and is one that modern studio potters have been influenced by.

Over all the body is in good condition but the glaze has some red earth staining to it as seen in the photographs
