Chinese 18th century blue and white export porcelain lidded mustard pot.

Painted in the European style with sprays of flowers and flower heads below a geometric border around the top of the pot and around the rim of the lid

The handle has a flower tendril or vine wrapped around it and the knop to the lid is a flower bud.

The mustard pot was an important part of the dinner service and often the lid is missing for obviously it was the most vulnerable part.
