Ming blue and white lidded porcelain Jar from the reign of the Emperor Wanli with a six character mark for the Emperor Wanli inside a double circle.
Painted to the outside with four playful Shiels / Buddhistic lions. they aer playing with ribbons and brocade balls. The top and bottom is painted with stylized petal borders
the colour to the painting is excellent and the subject matter is very good.
