Ming celadon deep tripod censer with moulded decoration to the outside. Slight crackle glazw that is heightened in some parts probably by the rubbing in of a copper oxide. The moulding is of the eight tri grams and a geometric birder below the rim. the three pad feet are moulded as Taotie masks - in theory to ward off gluttony.

The inside has a cleared off center above a moulded pattern, this area is darker where the original glaze has smeared aand darkened in the kiln.

Excellent piece and with a good coloured celadon and potting is excellent.
