Korean late 17th century blue glazed porcelain water dropper modelled as a carp

excellent colour and crisp modelling.

Moulded in the rounded form as it makes it easy to hold in the hand and control the water that is able to drip out.

The carp was important in both Chinese and Korean culture, it is synonymous with wish for advancement in life and culture or in work.
