Chinese Imari porcelain chocolate pot made during the reign of The Emperor Kangxi in the early 18th century as export to Europe particularly Holland.

The pattern to the outside is mainly under glaze blue with a small amount of orange to heighten the pattern mainly the painting of leaves almost in the Dutch clobbering style - Amsterdam Bont.

The Shape is typical of the early Chocolate pots with the spout at right angles to the handle.

The white metal mounts and lid are very much in the Dutch style and are very probably silver but no hall marks.

Overall a typically elegant piece as most Chocolate pots are and highly collected
