Chinese early 18th century blue and white vase made during the Emperor Kangxis reign. Moulded body with panels outlined in blue and painted with Long Elizas- tall ladies - or with large jardinières of flowers. the shoulder is painted with flowering peonies in sprays. The underside in the base is painted with the jade mark.

The white metal mounts that embellish the foot, the top and the lid is very probably silver in the Islamic style.
