Kangxi Early 18th Century Chinese famille verte plate made for export to Europe at the kilns at Jingdezhen.
The excellent painting in over glaze enamels shows a bird perched in bamboo with flying insects above chrysanthemum and prunus issuing from rock work below.
The border is painted with a floral pattern with cartouches of flowers.
