Chinese early 18th century biscuit porcelain square lidded box painted with fish in shaped panels. made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi

Made at the kilns at Jingdezhen for export to Europe with an early Dutch 18th century hinge to the top of the box.

Painted to the inside with scattered flower heads

A rare item possibly a snuff or spice box
