Kangxi Chinese 18th century pair of rare hexagonal saucers. Excellent decoration in bright enamels to show excellent subject matter of all scholars items. scholars emblems are repeated to the sides and also with 2 panels with painting of a bird in a flowering tree peony issuing from hollow rock.
The underside is painted with scattered flower heads to the sides and the base with a square seal mark within a double circle.
Rare pair of these and the subject matter is in much collected.
