Chinese early 18th Century made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi at the kilns at Jingdezhen for export to Europe, possibly as part of a garniture

The sides are painted with four differing flowering sprays of peony, tree peony and chrysanthemum issuing from rockwork which is also painted as a shaped cartouche of flowers.

The base is painted with the traditional hatched pattern and to the top a green band with a geometric flower pattern

around the flowers are insects

Enamels are very bright.

Overall very good there is a firing flaw of a burst glaze bubble to the inside of the rim and a small glaze chip to the foot
