Chinese early 18th century blue and white porcelain miniature or dolls tea bowl and saucer. Made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi at the kilns at Jingdezhen for export to Europe.

Very finely potted and with excellent painting and colour.

Painted with petal shaped panels to show a seated lady in front of a pyramid fence. The panels radiate out from a central flower head.

The underside painted with scattered flower sprays.

Double circle around a Chinese character to the saucer which is 8cm in diameter. the bowl has a lotus flower inside a double circle and is 3.5cm tall and 5cm in diameter

The piece is beautiful and remarkable that it has survived so well.
