Chinese early 18th century blue and white saucer made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi. The underside is glazed with a Café au Lait colour glaze - Batavian ware - but made for export to Europe specifically The Dutch Market.

Excellent detail with a mountainous rocky river landscape with trees and a bridge and a fisherman stood on the bank.

Very good colour and subject matter with an excellent iridescence to the café au lait glaze to the rear.
