Kangxi - Chinese 18th Century - Blue and White porcelain plate made at Jingdezhen potted as a saucer plate painted with scene inside a rim of flowering plants, trees and foliage.
Excellent colour and painting.
The decoration shows two sampans tied up at a river bank with three fishermen in conversation while being watched by a lady inside one sampan sheltering under a cliff
Unusual for this pattern there is a skein of geese flying above the mountains.
The underside painted with mountains under the sides and to the base a double circle around a six character Cheng Hua mark
