Kangxi - Chinese early 18th Century - porcelain blue and white potiche made at the kilns at Jingdezhen.

Excellent painting to show two panels separated by a brocade ball. The panels are painted to show two different scenes of dignitaries and attendants in land scape or terrace settings.

The neck is painted with Daoist emblems, including the pearl and the quiver.

Double circle to the base.

There are two pairs of holes to the sides above the brocade ball that were put there before glazing where the wire handles would have gone

These vessels were for cooking and food use
