Chinese early 18th century blue and white porcelain plate made at the kilns at Jingdezhen during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi. This Antique porcelain plate was made as export ware to Europe although still very much Chinese style decoration and influence

Unusual design to the centre with a shaped cartouche of flowering and budding lotus spray which is surrounded by a geometric basket design, some call this the money pattern.

The sides of the plate are painted with lotus sprays. the rim of the plate is foliate edged.

The underside is painted with flower heads and the base has a six character Cheng Hua mark inside a double circle. This is an apocryphal mark not one to deceive.

Excellent quality and design
