Chinese early 18th century Persian style blue and white porcelain ewer made at the kilns at Jingdezhen during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi.

This is a rare shape and pattern, as the pattern is moulded with the flowers on four sides being raised. The sides with the handle and spout are flat and there is no raised pattern.

the scrolling lotus pattern is more usually found as a flat pattern or on larger items where it is again moulded.

The colour is excellent and the potting very well dome

The White metal is silver with a Dutch hall mark to the base. the silver work is not typical of the Dutch work more typical of Middle eastern or Damascus silver work.
