Chinese early 18th century blue and white plate made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi at Jingdezhen for export to Europe. Six character mark to the back
The picture to the front is painted to show a two ladies in a fenced garden under a tree issuing from rockwork. The sides are painted with a trellised geometric pattern with four cartouches of flowering tree peonies.
The underside is painted with mountains and a six character mark inside a double circle, the characters read as 'Precious object of rare jade amongst treasured vessels.
