Chinese 18th century porcelain moulded blue and white pair of lidded jars made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi. Very unusual shape moulded 5 sided jars with the panels painted with a flowering tree peony and the base moulded with lappets or stiff leaves which is pencil painted towards the top.

The lids are painted in panels with flowers in the sections with a knop to the top.

very rare pair of jars made for the European market.

Overall the condition is very good. There is a tiny chip to the inside of the rim and the knops have had tiny restoration to the points at the top
