Kangxi - Chinese 18th century - blue and white moulded small vase. The panels are outlined in blue around either a lady or Jardinière. Flowers are painted above the foot rim and below the neck and above the shaped panels there are four items associated with the scholar painted in blue.
A traditional pattern associated with the Kangxi period and very much made as export ware to Europe. The colour is strong and the glaze and potting is excellent.
The white metal lid and embellishments to the foot and just above the foot is very probably silver in the middle eastern style.
A very good piece over all
