Kangxi Chinese early 18th Century blue and white porcelain flared beaker, very finely potted as this type often was.
painted to the sides with panels of flowering tree peonies above a band of lappets or stiff leaves around the base. The top inside and out is painted with a geometric hatched pattern the outside band also having demi flower heads again characteristic of export Kangxi porcelain.
To the base of the inside there is a single flower spray.
The underside in the base there is a double circle around a more unusual Artemisia spray rather than the single leaf.
Very fine piece 8cm tall
