Kangxi early 18th century blue and white Chinese porcelain plate.
Painted to the front with a climbing four toed dragon surrounded by clouds. The cavetto is painted with flower heads amongst breaking waves. The dragon is painted with attitude and is alive with movement. A very well painted piece.
The underside is decorated with Taoist motifs and to the centre a double circle surrounds a ding, the incense burner.
A very well decorated and painted example of this type.
