Chinese early 18th century blue and white porcelain rose water sprinkler. made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi for the Islamic community in China or for the Middle East. Although some were taken to the India as decoration by the British East India Company to India.

The colour is excellent and the painting shows four panels with flowering plants, vases or censers / incense burners. The neck and the foot rim are painted with a stylized flower.

Small rosewater sprinklers are a difficult shape to make and this is very well potted

A very good example
