Chinese porcelain blue and white moulded vase made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi c1700. The moulded bulbous part of the vase is moulded in panels and painted with ladies or birds in a hanging perch in front of a hatched fence. The base has a jade mark painted under the glaze.

The neck is painted with a flowering spray. The stepped base is painted with flower sprays.

the white metal lid, colour and embellishments are in the Turkish Islamic style and are very probably silver.

The colour is excellent and the potting is very good. This is not an easy shape to pot.
