Chinese 18th Century famille rose porcelain export ware platter painted in over glaze enamels to show the Tobacco Leaf Pattern. This design was aimed totally for the export market.

Painted in bright over glaze enamels to show the large Tobacco leaves with flowers from the Tobacco plant, small chrysanthemums and peonies with the joined rings (money) and mons. The scalloped edges are out lined by a thin blue line

Excellent interpretation of the pattern with bright enamels

May have been a small meat platter or the plate for a large tureen
