Kangxi - Chinese early 18th century - pair of blue and white porcelain rose water sprinklers. Made for the Islamic market in the far east or India. excellent decoration, colour and potting. The neck is painted with a slightly curved peacock feather which makes the neck appear slightly off potted but it is not.

the main part of the body has painting of four Chrysanthemum heads as medallions. Around the base of the neck a hatched border separates the two areas with Ruyi heads hanging from it. around the rim a slight brown - café au lait colour - which was thought to make them more difficult to chip.

A good pair over all well potted well painted and very elegant
