Chinese silk Sleevebands embroidered in Peking Forbidden Knot or Blind Stitch. A tiny knot stitch that was so called forbidden or blind stitch or knot because of the affect it had on the embroiders eye sight.
These are beautifully worked to show phoenix and other flying birds in flowering plants and trees.
The rock work and fence are with water and the bands are in mainly blues and greens with small amount of yellow and red
