Tongzhi mark and period famille rose porcelain moulded bowl in the shape of a lotus flower. Made in China in the 19th century during the reign of the Emperor Tongzhi and with the Emperor Tongzhis seal mark to base in iron red.

Excellent painting in over glaze famille rose enamels of figures representing actors and warriors in various poses and actions.

The inside of the bowl and the base are glazed with a duck or robin egg coloured glaze with the base having an iron red seal mark to the centre in a small square cleared off area.

Excellent painting and a very good seal mark for the Emperor Tongzhi.
