Kangxi famille verte lidded round bowl with handles loosely shaped as heads. Made at the kilns at Jingdezhen for export to Europe
Painted with four panels on the lid and bowl to show the various auspicious combinations of flowers to include Chrysanthemums, peony. lilies and lotus.
Painted in overglaze enamels of green, yellow an aubergine with overglaze orange paint too. Zoomorphic handles representing elephants which is an unusual detail
Such tureens are rare to have the original lids still
