Reference

Diameter
16 cm (6 1/4")
Kangxi blue and white bowl painted with two four toed Dragons chasing the flaming pearl amongst clouds. To the inside of the bowl it is painted with a turbulent sea and mountainous Islands. The painting both inside and out is very fine as is the cobalt blue colour.
To the base there is a double circle around an apocryphal six character linear mark for the earlier Ming Emperor Cheng Hua. This was done for reverential reasons and not for deception.
It is an excellent subject matter and the painting and the porcelain is fine quality.
