Chinese bombe form blue and white porcelain censer. Made at the kilns at Jingdezhen for the Chinese market. Painted to the sides with dings(incense burners) vases of flowers or peacock feathers separated by the hundred precious things or Daoist symbols excellent colour and painting. The censer is a more unusual size being on the smaller side than most. These type of censers were much sort after in the west as jardinières or bulb planters. In the Chinese communities they were filled with soil and jos sticks put in for in incense to permeate
