Transitional porcelain Chinese Wucai jar made during the Emperor Shunzhis reign. Painted in over glaze enamels of orange, green and a little yellow.



The decoration is of three panels of flowering auspicious plants , tree peony, Chrysanthemum and aquatic Iriss with lily pads. The panels are separated by a geometric flower petal design with scrolling foliage to the shoulder and above the base.

Slightly larger than many of this type an impressive size.
