Chinese late Transitional early Kangxi blue and white matched pair of jars. Excellent decoration of boys waving fronds, banners and lanterns in front of and behind a dignitary / gentleman riding on a qilin. the setting is in front of pyramid fences and foliage.
One jar is possibly late Chongzhen, the other is very early Kangxi. The pattern is the same as it is a traditional pattern much painted in the 17th century.
